Community & Social Support
At Carlisle Care, we believe staying socially connected and engaged within the community plays an important role in emotional wellbeing, confidence, and overall quality of life. Our Community & Social Support service helps elderly and vulnerable adults continue enjoying meaningful activities, social interaction, and community involvement while maintaining their independence.
Our compassionate companions provide friendly encouragement and practical support to help individuals take part in activities they enjoy, whether that means attending community groups, visiting friends and family, going shopping, enjoying local events, or simply getting out of the house for fresh air and companionship.
We understand that some individuals may feel isolated, anxious, or less confident about going out alone. That’s why our team offers reassuring one-to-one support, helping clients feel safe, comfortable, and socially connected.
Our Community & Social Support may include:
- Accompaniment to appointments and social outings
- Support attending community groups and activities
- Shopping trips and local visits
- Visiting friends and family members
- Encouragement with hobbies and interests
- Friendly companionship during outings and walks
Our goal is to help every individual remain active, engaged, and connected to the people and activities that bring joy and purpose to their daily life.
